(Acts 1:4-5) If you heard such a promise to you, what would you do about it? What do you do when Jesus gives you a command? Jesus spoke in their language, so they knew exactly what baptized meant. Our translators did not translate the word into English for us. Baptizo = to immerse, submerge, overwhelm. From Bapto = to dip in, to dye, to colour. So you can expect to be different when you receive the Spirit. To dye something is usually permanent. You can expect to be overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit too.
