Belief or Unbelief.

Belief or Unbelief.
How much is possible to you?
Are you a believer? Then all things are possible.
Belief = Pistos (Greek). Unbelief = A-pistos = non-belief. As in a-pathetic or a-moral.
Jesus helped his non-belief by healing his child.
He will do signs to help us believe, as long as we are not looking to the signs as our source of
faith. But looking to Him.
Our first source of help for unbelief in any area is The Word.
Make your first reaction one of study.
Even if you have to ask for help.
(Mark 9:23-24)

Do we believe in Jesus or in the signs?

Do we believe in Jesus or in the signs?
The name Jesus means - Jehovah is salvation. They believed in the salvation name and the miracles He did.
These people did not believe in Him personally. What do you believe?
Trouble is - if you only look for signs, and there aren't any happening at the moment. You will stop believing.
Jesus did not commit Himself to them because He did not trust them.
He knows what is in all of us.
Does He trust you?
(John 2:23-25)

What else is already finished in our lives?

What else is already finished in our lives?
You are already blessed. It is finished.
You are already chosen. It is finished.
You are already holy and blameless. It is finished.

He has seen ahead from eternity to the day you receive Him and has adopted you.
He has accepted you. It is finished.
There is nothing you can do, to make yourself acceptable to Him.
It is finished.
(Ephesians 1:3-6)

Finishing Our Own Race.

Finishing Our Own Race.
This is why we lay our own desires down so we can finish.
Finish (apoleteo) our own race with joy and finish the ministry we received.
Everyone has been given a ministry to finish. If you don't yet know yours, try something, step out in faith and go for it. If you get it wrong, don't worry, the Lord can re-direct you.
Like a moving windsurfer has their direction changed by a gust of wind.
A stationary windsurfer will just get blown over and blame the wind.
(Acts 20:24)

Our Power and Love Source

Our Power and Love Source.
When it comes to our strength being perfected. It is finished.
We receive it by the gift of grace He gave to us. There is nothing else for us to do.
Except brag on our weaknesses to Him, so His power comes to us.
When it comes His love being perfected in us. It is finished.
All we have to do it love people with the love He gave us.
Then God lives in us and empowers it all.
(2 Corinthians 12:9)
(1 John 4:12)

The Great Exchange.

The Great Exchange.
He took our sin, so we could be righteous. The Great exchange. It is finished.
There is nothing more to do. Just accept His finished work.
He took your sin so you could have His righteousness.
When Mary asked the boy Jesus to tidy His bedroom.
When He came back to her and said, it is finished.
Did she need to check if He had done it?
When Jesus says it is done - it is done.
(2 Corinthians 5:20-21)

Sin Finished Its Work In Jesus.

Sin Finished Its Work In Jesus.
Finished = Apoloteo in Greek.
1) to perfect, to bring to an end
2) to accomplish
3) to carry out the contents of a command.
When our sin, laid on Jesus had finished its work, it killed Him.
He deliberately laid down His life by taking our sin, knowing the end result would be His death.
His dying meant that He would now be taken to hell in our place as our substitute.
(James 1:15 KJV)

Jesus Our Substitute.

Jesus Our Substitute.
Jesus satisfied God's justice by dying for all to pay for the sins of all people.
These sins can never be punished again since that would violate God's justice.
Sin's punishment can only be received once, either by yourself or by a substitute.
He took the sin punishment in your place, He was your substitute.
Because He loves you.

What Was Finished?

What Was Finished?
It is finished; that is, the whole will of God:
     That He should be born.
Suffer shame and reproach and die.
The whole work his Father gave him to do:
     To preach the Gospel.
     To work miracles.
To obtain eternal salvation for all people.
All which were now done, or as good as done.
There were a few loose ends to tie up - like the devil.

The whole righteousness of the law was now fulfilled.
Sin was made an end of.
Full atonement and satisfaction for it were given.
Complete pardon was purchased for all.
All sickness and disease was carried away by Him.
All enemies were about to be conquered.
None of these things can be undone.

Once He finishes off the final victory in hell itself:
He will sit at the right hand of the Father.
Mission Accomplished.
(John 19:30)

Jesus had a task to complete.

Jesus had a task to complete.
He had to finish the work Father had set before Him. He needed to be the Saviour of the world. That is what sustained Him, that's what kept Him going. That is what gave Him the strength to carry on. That was always His focus when He woke up every morning.
Jesus had you on His mind.
(John 4:34)

The Firstborn Of Many.

The Firstborn Of Many.
He is the firstborn from the dead - "first" means there will be many more.
That's how we get Born Again.
We acknowledge our sin to be worthy of death and are crucified with Him.
Then we are raised from the dead, when we receive Jesus as our saviour.
Then we too are raised from the dead as part of the multiplication.
Simply acknowledging that you have sinned and repent.
Accept that Jesus is your Saviour who died in your place.
Receive Him as Lord over your new life and you are Born Again.
Why not do that today. Let us know when you do.
(Revelation 1:5)

We Are Part Of Jesus Multiplication.

We Are Part Of Jesus Multiplication.
If Jesus is raised from the dead on the third day.
The third day multiplication principle says many more people will be raised too.
We are part of that process, we have been raised up to newness of life.
(Matthew 2:19)

Jesus Always Supplies The Best.

Jesus Always Supplies The Best.
Each of the six jars is at least 20 gallons that's 90 Litres which is 540 Litres.  A bottle of wine = 0.75 L
So Jesus made 720 bottles of wine that day.
God loves weddings, He loves people renewing their vows too.
We don't know when exactly the water became wine, but when it was poured out, it was wine.
Whatever Jesus provides is always the best.
Including every third day multiplication.
(John 2:6-10)

Jesus meets every need.

Jesus meets every need.
They probably ran out of wine because they had little money.
So being part of the family, Mary sought the help of Jesus.
He says - why are you telling me, it is not My time yet. Jesus knows that the full time of Him doing many miracles is not yet.
But Mary knows He is going to do something.
Do what He says.
There is something that happens here that is not written down.
I know Jesus' reaction to seeing someone in need.
I know He prayed and said - Father do you want Me to fix it?
His mother knew He would ask.
We would do well to heed her words too.
Whatever He says - do it.
(John 2:3-5)

Who loves being invited to a wedding?

Who loves being invited to a wedding?
It is the third day so we are in multiplication mode.
Something is about to happen.
Either the bride or groom was probably a relative of Mary because she was already there. Jesus and His disciples had to be invited.
(John 2:1-2)

Creation Principles.

Creation Principles. God did not just create the earth, He also created the principles, the laws by which it operates. On the third day God created the principle of multiplication. Everything designed with seed as its form of procreation will multiply. Something existing in one form will be turned into another form. Later He tells Adam to be fruitful and multiply. (Genesis 1:12-13)

Come look at His Cross.

Come look at His Cross. Yes, come and see Him. Know Him for yourself this Easter. Not through your wife, husband, parents, friends. He already knows you. The Bible says He knew us in the womb and how many hairs are on your head. Rising, sitting, sleeping, waking, all our thoughts. I would like you to listen to a song by Don Francisco told by the thief crucified with Jesus. It is about the crucifixion and resurrection. It is very powerful. This video of the Don Francisco song is at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmQqM0bFrkw

Do You Believe?

Do You Believe? In John 11:25 Jesus says to Mary. I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in Me, though he may die, yet shall he live. Whoever believes in Me shall never die, and then asks Mary, do you believe this? Now I ask you - do you believe this? And this is eternal life that they may know You, the only true God. And Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Do You Love Jesus?

Do You Love Jesus? There is a beauty and uniqueness of Jesus character, both divine and human. All through the gospels you can read all of the people who loved Him. Disciples, followers, friends, men and women, old and young. Many, many people all over the world love Jesus personally. I love to hear their own personal testimony hoe He saved them. The Bible says: As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. As soon as you believe in Him, you are a child of God. Saved - safe - His.

The Cross Is Precious.

The Cross Is Precious. Our own precious Sylvia has gone to be with Jesus this week. But all the beautiful things she made, her crochet made with her hands is personal to her, special. Things become more precious when someone has died. The people the Lord uses in our lives become personal to us. 16 years ago this Easter Day, I gave Jan an Easter card inviting her to church. She came, gave her heart to Jesus and has led many people to Jesus since then. She came and looked at this Cross personally for herself. Personal to Jesus, He died on it.

What Is Precious To You?

What Is Precious To You? People's personal belongings always touch me. Things that are personal and speak of them. A grandchild's favourite rabbit. Your husband's cup - with a picture of you both in it. Slippers, a watch, pen, ring, perfume, aftershave, clothes. Whenever I went away for a night, my little girls wanted scarves or a T-shirt of mine with my perfume on it, to sleep with. Personal to their Mummy. A lady told me that after her grandad's funeral, they were back at the house having tea. She saw her grandad's favourite - half eaten - jar of marmalade in the cupboard. She broke down sobbing, because it was personal to Him, and he wouldn't get to finish it. I cried when she told me.

Jesus' Personal Sacrifice.

Jesus' Personal Sacrifice. When we come to the Cross and think about what Jesus did, how personal was this for Him? How personal is this to you and me? When I read in the Bible what they did to Him it always makes me cry. He was the Son of God, pure and lovely, kindness itself, without sin, humble, holy. They spat on Him, mocked Him, struck Him, stripped Him, beat Him, humiliated Him. Pushed a crown of thorns into His head, tied Him to a post and whipped Him. Drove nails into His hands and feet and stuck a spear into His side. At any moment, He could have stopped the lot and disintegrated them all. But He chose to take it for you and me - personally. He said - no-one takes My life from Me, I lay it down. He could have called to His Father for legions of angels. But He knew that to be the Saviour of mankind, He had to die. For our salvation, healing, peace.

The Cross is Personal to Jesus.

The Cross is Personal to Jesus. The times when we are really scared of the unknown, we need Jesus. We need Him to show up personally in our situation. Many times in my life, without Jesus helping me and making me strong, I would have been a mess and not made it through. In the year 2000, we had two of our children in intensive care within four months. Both with brain injuries, both were healed. Two miracles, we got close to Jesus personally. Hear Caroline's complete testimony via this link. http://fcfwarminster.sermon.net/main/main/9530466

Our Personal Jesus.

Our Personal Jesus. Everyone of us has sinned, everyone of us needs forgiveness, we all need Jesus. Without Him we are lost and alone. He saves people, mostly from themselves. We receive Him, He heals us and makes us whole. He is our personal Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. Best friend, King and the lover of our soul. The Bible says all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. All.

God's Personal Word.

God's Personal Word.
Easter is about celebrating our risen saviour Jesus - He is alive.
When Jesus speaks, it is His Word, The Bible, His Word is personal to us.
His words are powerful and sharper that any two-edged sword.
Our most important decisions about our life should be made after reading The Bible.
This cross of the Lord Jesus Christ - our risen King, is personal to Him and personal to us.
Whenever and wherever we see this Cross, it is always about Him.
It cost Jesus His life, it was personal to Him.

Certain Eternal Life.

Certain Eternal Life.
Paul is telling you, and I am telling you, that because of the
pre-arranged sacrifice of Jesus, eternal life is a promise, certain, sure.
This Easter time is in remembrance of what Jesus did for us
2000 years ago.
Based on what Father God determined before He made the world.
(Titus 1:1-3)

Written in The Book of Life.

Written in The Book of Life.
When did Father God choose you to be adopted as His child?
What do you need to do to be worthy of this selection? Nothing, He has already accepted you.
Looking ahead and seeing you get born again, He chose you, accepted you, and wrote your name in the Book of Life.
You already have a place in heaven arranged for you.
(Ephesians 1:4-6)

Thursday 2 April 2015

Pre-arranged Redemption.

Pre-arranged Redemption. Jesus had not been to the cross yet, yet John sees sin taken away. When God speaks, it is as if it has already happened. Your name was written in the Book of Life before the world was founded. Based entirely on God seeing ahead of time to see your new birth. God already knows the day you will get born again. He saw it and planned your redemption. (John 1:29)

Wednesday 1 April 2015

The Eternal Plan Of Salvation.

The Eternal Plan Of Salvation.
Just before Jesus comes back for us, everyone will worship the beast, except those whose names are written in the book of life.
You get your name written in the book by being Born Again.
Jesus was ordained to die before the world was made.
Something spoken by God about the future is so sure, it is as if it has already happened. As if Jesus had already died.
God had a plan to get us redeemed before we had even been born.
Before we had sinned and needed to be bought back.
(Revelation 13:8)

From the Foundation of the World.

From the Foundation of the World.
The sacrifice of Jesus was all arranged before the world was made.
Father knew ahead of time that we would need to be redeemed.
In fact the Passover was arranged as a model of Jesus death.
God could have saved the Jews from Egypt in many ways, but He chose to use the blood of a lamb.
(1 Peter 1:18-20)
