The Five Senses of The Spirit

We are created in God's image, so we are tri-une beings. We are a spirit, we have a soul and we live in a body. Our physical realm has five senses; Taste, Touch, Smell, Sight, Hearing. We have the same senses in our souls realm, where our emotions are. We experience that same five senses in the spiritual realm. So we can enjoy the taste of a good meal, we know when something is in good taste, and we can taste and see that The Lord is good.

It's Not What You Know

It's not what you know, it's who you know. A definition almost, of Christianity. Knowing Jesus brings such power and blessings. It also helps us minister to one another in love.

The Lord's Prayer

Matthew 6:9-13 The verses that bring us what is known as The Lord’s Prayer. Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name ........ Most Christians can quote it, but it is not a prayer. • This is an Old Testament scripture of a prayer outline. (The bullet-points of prayer) Yes, Old Testament. Jesus lived as an Old Testament Prophet, Priest and King. The New Testament does not begin until Matthew chapter 28:16-20. Not until Jesus has been crucified, buried and raised to life. Check out the other three Gospels too. That is when the New Testament (Covenant) had been established with the blood of Jesus.

Rich Men and their Camels

When Jesus said: "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." (Mark 10:25) His disciples were worried about themselves, but there was no need to worry. Most rich men in those days had many camels, and they all knew that the "eye of the needle" was the pedestrian gate into the city. The problem Jesus was explaining, was not that a person has riches, but that riches have the person.

Syria

While Syria is first place in the news recently, did you know it once was first place on God's heart?
Read Matthew 4:24
Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.
At the end of that day, there was not a sick person in Syria.
If God can heal a country in a day ..................

Healing

The Bible clearly tells us that God wants sick people to be healed.
Jesus healed thousands of people during His ministry on earth and His disciples healed many more.
The Bible tells Christians to lay hands on the sick so that He can heal them.
We are always available at our meetings to lay hands on anyone who is sick.

If you need prayer for healing, just come along and let us know.

Fear or Faith

DEFINITION OF FEAR
Fear is believing that something you cannot see will come to pass.
DEFINITION OF FAITH
Faith is believing that something you cannot see will come to pass.

Believe for the best with Jesus, our loving Saviour, because there is no fear in love.

You Are A Priest Of God

Revelation 5
9  And they sang a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10  And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.

Jesus has made us kings and priests.
They were only people who were anointed in the Old Testament.
Jesus is the High Priest of us priests. He is the King of us kings.

All His priests are holy, you are a holy person.
No wonder we can come boldly into the throne room and pray.
You have access to His throne room because you are a priest.

Mary prayed in Tongues.

When Jesse Duplantis had finished preaching at a Catholic church, a lady came up to him and said.
"Brother Jesse, you have just been speaking about prayer, but you didn't mention praying to Mary".
Jesse replied: "No lady, you are not to pray TO Mary, you are to pray LIKE Mary".
Jesse went on to explain the situation as it was in Jerusalem on that first Pentecost.
He then prayed with the lady who readily received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and prayed in tongues.
She then went off to tell her minister about this amazing encounter with the Holy Spirit.
Yes, according to the verses below, Mary was filled with the Spirit and prayed in tongues.
There might be someone you know who could do with knowing this, why not share it with them.

Acts 1
12  Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey.
13  And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James.
14  These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

Acts 2
1  When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3  Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
4  And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

You Are A Spirit

Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Check this: In this scripture, if you are to sacrifice your body, and you are to have your mind renewed ......... Who is the you ?  You are a spirit, the real you.
You are a spirit, you have a soul (mind, will emotions) and you live in a body.

Check this: The word “transformed” comes from the Greek word “metamorphosis”.
Just like the stage between a caterpillar and a butterfly, there is no going back.
This process cannot be reversed, once you are transformed, you stay that way.
