The Lord's Prayer
Matthew 6:9-13 The verses that bring us what is known as The Lord’s Prayer.
Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name ........
Most Christians can quote it, but it is not a prayer.
• This is an Old Testament scripture of a prayer outline. (The bullet-points of prayer)
Yes, Old Testament. Jesus lived as an Old Testament Prophet, Priest and King.
The New Testament does not begin until Matthew chapter 28:16-20.
Not until Jesus has been crucified, buried and raised to life. Check out the other three Gospels too.
That is when the New Testament (Covenant) had been established with the blood of Jesus.
