When Jesus said: "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." (Mark 10:25) His disciples were worried about themselves, but there was no need to worry.
Most rich men in those days had many camels, and they all knew that the "eye of the needle" was the pedestrian gate into the city. The problem Jesus was explaining, was not that a person has riches, but that riches have the person.
