In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. (2 Timothy 2:25-26) Once they accept the truth you have been led to share, they can sort themselves out. Now they have come to their senses. Now they can get out of the devil's trap on their own. The first thing they need to know is, how they got in the trap in the first place. What made them step over into his territory. Was it their sin or the sin of someone else? Either way, you get out of that trap only by forgiveness. Did you know that you could be in unforgiveness toward someone and they might not even know. Unforgiveness does not hurt the person who sinned against you. It will only harm you.
