Tablet One. 1 Do not have any other gods before Me. 2 Do not make any graven image and bow down to them. 3 Do not take the name of The Lord God in vain. 4 Keep the Sabbath day holy. 5 Honour your father and your mother. Tablet Two. 6 Do not murder. 7 Do not commit adultery. 8 Do not steal. 9 Do not lie. 10 Do not covet. (Exodus 20:1-17) Commandment 5 is the lynchpin. This is our Heavenly Father saying, love your own parents before you start loving your neighbour.
